Full-Stack Developer (Node.js & React)
What is the role?
We are looking for a versatile Full-Stack Developer to help build and scale AyuCI, our comprehensive Hospital Management System. In this role, you will have ownership over the entire development lifecycle—designing robust server-side logic in Node.js, architecting MySQL database schemas, and crafting seamless user experiences in React. You will be a key player in ensuring our platform is fast, secure, and capable of handling critical healthcare data in real-time.
About you
You are a problem-solver who enjoys the challenge of connecting complex backend systems with elegant frontend interfaces. You have a strong command of the JavaScript ecosystem and are comfortable switching between building RESTful APIs and optimizing React components. You care deeply about data integrity, security (especially given the sensitive nature of medical records), and performance. You are motivated to learn, whether it’s exploring new Gen AI integrations or optimizing server configurations on AWS.
Your Role at AyuCI
As a Full-Stack Developer, you will:
- Architect APIs: Build scalable, secure, and well-documented RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express to power our EMR modules.
- Database Management: Design and optimize MySQL relational databases to handle complex patient data, billing records, and doctor schedules.
- Frontend Integration: Develop and maintain responsive web dashboards using Next.js/React, ensuring smooth state management and data fetching.
- System Reliability: Monitor and maintain deployment environments (AWS EC2/Vercel) and ensure high availability of our production services.
Responsibilities
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use across the AyuCI ecosystem.
- Optimize backend logic for maximum speed and scalability under high concurrent loads.
- Implement security and data protection measures for HIPAA-compliant environments.
- Collaborate with the design team to bring the AyuCI visual identity to life.
- Manage and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to ensure frequent, safe deployments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role.
- Expert knowledge of Node.js and frameworks like Express or NestJS.
- Strong proficiency in React.js and the Next.js App Router.
- Experience with SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)—writing complex queries and managing migrations.
- Familiarity with modern authentication (JWT, OAuth) and security best practices.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS EC2, Caddy, or Vercel) and Linux environments.
- Experience with Python (FastAPI) or Mobile development (React Native) is a major plus.
